Why not come and stay in this unique and wonderful part of South West France, where we have a lovely old stone cottage or an oak cabin to choose from, both in idyllic and peaceful settings.

I bought this little jumble of buildings 25 years ago in 1990. I had stayed in the area a few times before and was drawn by its beauty and charm. In those days there were very few English people living here or even spending their holidays in the Lot, properties were cheap and in abundance... it took me less than a week to find this idyllic little spot!

The local people were a little bemused having a young(ish!) English couple in their midst; we were slightly apprehensive as well, but inquisitiveness on both sides drew us together and we loved the new adventure from day one! We were soon asked to become members of the 'Comité des fetes' and help with the various meals and other functions in the commune (parish) and in doing so  became well integrated with the locals who were very warm towards us and have been ever since, accepting us and making us part of their lives.

25 years on and little has changed - of course there have been new arrivals and people have moved on but the charm and timelessness remain and hopefully will do so for years to come!
